Prayer Shawl and Outreach Group
Shirley Jessup hosted the Prayer Shawl and Outreach group at her home in December to celebrate the holidays and enjoy each others company.

Shirley shared stories of wear the shawls and quilts have gone and how they have helped people. She also discussed needs of the community. As Mesquite grows, so do the needs.
Pat Waldorff also shared how she and Lola have used some of our funds to take clothing to Beaver Dam Elementary. Some of the children sometimes have clothing needs. The school likes to have extras on hand for those in need.

Trish shared a quilt she donated for a child. Since it has a Zebra theme, she made the label a pocket and made a zebra for the pocket to go with the quilt.

We also celebrated Tiny’s 98th birthday. We all wish to be as vibrant and energetic as Tiny at 98.

Sue and Jeannie donated these wonderful quilts. There were more from others, the photographer wasn’t quick enough to get all the photos1

Maxine shared details of a successful Christmas Box drive that benefits children from around the world.

Fellowship Picnic
The Congregation had their annual fellowship picnic in April to say goodbye to the snowbirds. The food was fabulous and the company even better.
